To double cleanse or not?

Double cleansing is cleansing the face twice. Usually, the first time is with an oil-based cleanser like Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil, which is rich in vitamin E, fatty acids, and has a plant-derived Retinatural Complex. This is formulated to reinforce the skin’s fragile moisture barrier for a soothed, nourished complexion. After two weeks, 100% of research participants (n=32) said that Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil left no residue which is usually not the case with oil-based cleansers. Another oil-based cleanser I personally love is the Counter+ Lotus Glow Cleansing Balm. Every time I use it, I feel like I’m getting a facial at the spa. With a blend of lotus extract, jojoba seed oil, and avocado seed oil, it cleanses and moisturizes at the same time. My skin feels amazing, luminous, and well taken care of. It gets rid of makeup and residue without stripping my skin of its natural oils.

After you use your oil-based cleanser, the second product is a cleanser that lathers with water. My pick for my second cleanser is Counter+ Charcoal Cleansing Bar which can be used daily, whose soap base is palm-free, and instead is formulated with Binchotan charcoal powder to help detoxify and absorb impurities in skin without drying it out. Another one that works in this category is the Countermatch Refresh Foaming Cleanser which features squalane, plum oil, and phytic acid. This cleanser allows your glowing skin to emerge while it removes face and eye makeup, and washes away impurities.
